I've just had my ponies worm count results back and he has a medium count 550 epg for strongyle eggs. I was quite surprised as I've only ever had a low or no eggs seen in the four years we've had him. Anyway west gate are very helpful as always and I was going to go out first thing tomorrow and get equest to worm with.
Just realised that his due his annual vaccination on Wednesday and now I'm worried that it might be too much to worm and vaccinate so close to each other or am I worrying needlessly. Think I will phone the vet on Monday morning but just thought I'd ask if anyone else has been in the same position. Thanks
