Horse still growing?

I noticed yesterday that with my horse, he looked a little bit like he had become bum high, which as far as I know means he is probably going to grow again (damnit).

However, my horse is now 7 years old. I know that being half Oldenburg and warmbloods mature late, but isnt this a bit ridiculous? Gonna check him again today, but other people confirmed he looked taller at the back end. He doesnt ride downhill ever, he is so uphill and never goes on the forehand, so its not like this is how he is designed either.

He was rather skinny when I got him and was probably rarely fed hard feed by his old owner. He has grown 2 inches since I got him at the age of 6. Anyone else find this a bit odd or is this common with warmbloods?

I'm not overly bothered if he does, I'm 5'8 and mainly legs with that, so if he became 16.3/17hh, it wouldnt matter, but I liked him as he was.
