So at 11 weeks, my jrt is standing almost 9 inches tall. I'm hoping she will be bigger than my other who is 11 inches. Her parents were definitely of the longer legged variety, she just looks so tiny! Am I being a bit optimistic hoping for 13 inches ? I do agility so ideally want the bigger end of small.

If it was just a yearling and apony turned out o 6 acres I would expect to have plenty of grazing left especially afetr such a mild winter.
I would be looking at putting him somehwere to live out with a fully established herd, no bucket feed just grass and hay to top up, how long has he been living out though and what was his routine before?
I would want to give him 6 moths and see how much he improved over this time, really curious as to what would have a 6 month old foal wind sucking in the first place? Is it wind sucking or crib biting though?
Recurring Ear Infection

Just wondering if anyone has any advice; my 13 yro Cocker Spaniel had an ear infection before Christmas, I treated it with some drops I'd had from the vets previously and all seemed to clear up pretty quickly. About 10 days later it came back, so re-treated and all seemed fine again.
However it soon reappeared so I took her to the vets, given antibiotics and cleaner and again it seemed to work, but soon started again, back to vets; this time they took a swab and said it was quite a complex infection which only two type of antibiotics could treat. Followed the course, with metacam for the inflammation but still the same outcome. Next they had her in under sedation and flushed the ear, I was told there was a plug of wax and puss near the eardrum which they removed, she followed a course of oral antibiotics for two weeks, plus metacam and daily cleaning.
Now we are just over three weeks post flush and this morning her ear is awful again; really wet, smelly and lots puss looking discharge. I will take her back on Monday, but just wondering if anyone has any advice really - something to boost her immune system, some other therapy?
In herself she's fine, still up for her runs and eating well, I'm just getting frustrated with not being able to clear this up and I know she's not enjoying going to the vets!

We are looking to upgrade our 4x4 this summer and I'm looking for some feedback on choices.
Budget is 6-9k. Does miles really matter ? but I eeek at over 100'000 when my old reliable but shabby has done 123'000 and is a M plate.
Would love 7 seats as with kids and their friends would be super handy. So thinking Disco 3 or pathfinder.
Husband likes VW Touareg but seats 5.
Needs to be able to tow a 510-( looking to downgrade size to a 506 but will be a few months after car change) and two horses say 1000kg for the both to be on the safe side. I have a b+e.
So let me hear your pros and cons- won't consider a ssangyong and I can't stand that fake wood affect bleggh.
Good towing 4x4Show Classes for Draft Breed?
I was wondering if anyone knows what ridden classes you can enter a draft breed in? My local shows don't have a heavy horse class, so can I enter a cob class or what would people recommended? Viewed a gorgeous Belgian Draft mare this weekend but no idea what I could do with her! Thanks in advance.

Exactly a year ago since I lost soli after his horrible injury and stay at the vets. I am at work and could really do without doing someone else's horses as feeling so sad. Don't think I feel any better now than I did then. And so its 1 year 7 months since I lost minto. Pointless post just feeling sad.
